- BirchDurable hardwood with rich natural variation, ideal for furniture components, millwork, and premium interior applications.
- CedarNaturally durable and lightweight, cedar is well suited for trim, saunas, feature walls, and exterior details.
- Douglas FirStrong and character-rich with warm natural tones, Douglas Fir is a popular choice for exposed woodwork, trim, and custom interior finishing.
- SPF (Spruce, Pine & Fir)A practical and versatile softwood option suited for painted trim, utility applications, shelving, and general interior projects.
Most S4S material is surfaced to order from rough dry stock. Tell us your finished dimensions, species, and quantity to check availability and lead times.

Do you stock S4S on the shelf?
We generally don’t keep pre-made S4S inventory on the shelf. We keep rough stock (especially aspen and birch) so we can mill S4S to order based on your finished size, quantity, and timeline.
