Birch tongue & groove
Choose birch when you want a harder feel and more natural variation—paneling that reads premium on a feature wall or ceiling.
Birch brings contrast and depth: grain and figure can run from rich chocolate tones through warm honey to creamy white on the same job. It's primarily an interior species—durable enough for everyday wall applications and spaces where you want wood that still feels special.
Where birch T&G fits
Feature walls, statement ceilings, cabin great rooms, and anywhere you'd pick a hardwood look over a softwood panel. For exposed exterior soffits and cladding, cedar or other durable species are usually the better fit.
